Tiffany & Co. Japan Inc. are seeking an experienced Application Manager to oversee all application area from understanding the business needs and objectives of different departments within the organization, ensuring that IT solutions are designed and implemented to meet those requirements, running the projects, maintenance of our organization's software applications and budgeting.The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team, working with Headquaters, collaborating with various stakeholders, and ensuring the applications align with business objectives.
Key Accountabilities
1.Team Management:
- Recruit, train, and supervise a team of developers and support staff.
- Provide coaching and mentorship to team members to enhance their skills and productivity.
- Conduct performance evaluations and manage team resources effectively.
2. IT Project Management, Application Development and Maintenance :
- Lead cross-functional IT projects that support business objectives.
- Ensure the successful execution of IT projects, from initiation to completion.
- Plan and execute application development projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
- Monitor project progress and adjust plans as necessary.
- Ensure applications are regularly updated and maintained to meet performance and security standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve application issues in a timely manner.
- Budget required operating and maintenace cost.
3.Business Alignment, Stakeholder Relationship Management and Solution Design and Delivery
- Collaborate with business leaders and stakeholders to understand their goals, challenges, and IT needs.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with business units, acting as a trusted advisor.
- Translate business objectives into IT strategies and solutions.
- Align technology initiatives with the overall corporate strategy.
- Proactively identify opportunities for technology-driven improvements
- Serve as the primary point of contact for IT-related inquiries and issues.
- Work with NY IT teams to design and implement technology solutions that meet business requirements.
- Ensure that IT projects deliver value and align with business expectations.
- Monitor and report on the progress and impact of IT initiatives.
4.Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain comprehensive documentation for applications, including user manuals, technical specifications, and change logs.
- Generate regular reports on application performance, project status, and key metrics
5.Risk Management and Compliance:
- Collaborate with compliance and security teams to ensure IT solutions meet regulatory and security requirements.
- Identify and mitigate technology-related risks that may affect business operations.
- Conduct regular code reviews and testing to maintain high-quality applications.
- Evaluate and select technology vendors and partners.
- Negotiate contracts and service level agreements.
- Evaluate and select third-party software vendors and manage vendor relationships.
- Negotiate contracts and service level agreements with vendors.
Required Qualifications/Primary Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Minimum of 3 years working experience in retail or luxury industry.
- Proven experience as an Application Manager or in a similar role.
- Proven experience as an IT Business Partner or in a similar role.
- Proven experience in project management, successfully delivering complex projects within scope, budget, and schedule.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Strong understanding of IT systems, applications, and infrastructure.
- Strong technical background in software development and application architecture.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Problem-solving attitude and strategic thinking to address project challenges effectively.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with diverse stakeholders.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and interpersonal skills to facilitate collaboration and build strong relationships.

- Knowledge and experience of Azure, Sales Force cloud, Database(SQL server, Oracle and so on) is a plus.
- Knowledge and Experience with Salesforce is a plus.
- Knowledge and Experience with mobile apps is a plus.
