Isaacs Neighborhood Center (Isaacs Center) are well-established Manhattan community-based agencies that support services to approximately 30,000 New Yorkers. We are two of New York City's leading human services organizations meeting the needs of children, youth and families, homeless individuals, and older adults through-out Manhattan and New York City. We work every day for a fair and just society where all people have the opportunity to make choices that lead to better lives for themselves and their families.Purpose of Position: The IT Analyst who reports to the IT Director will be responsible to support the agency's 400+ employees across 28 different programs. The IT Analyst will be responsible for assisting in the design, organization, modification, and support of GRCCs computer systems, both hardware and software, including the design and installation of LANs, WANs, Internet and intranet systems, and network segments.Schedule: Monday through Friday - 9:00am to 5:00pmSalary Range: $45,940 to $57,425Candidates must have the required qualifications to be considered for the position. The salary offer will be based on the candidate's number of years experience in the exact or comparable position and additional preferred qualifications will be taken into account.Roles, Responsibilities, and Essential DutiesRole, Responsibilities & Essential Duties
  • Support LANs, WANs, network segments, Internet, and intranet systems
  • Maintain system efficiency
  • Ensure design of system allows all components to work together
  • Troubleshoot problems reported by users and identify their needs
  • Make recommendations for future upgrades
  • Maintain network and system security
  • Analyze and isolate issues
  • Monitor networks to ensure security and availability to specific users
  • Evaluate and modify system's performance
  • Maintain integrity of the network, server deployment, and security
  • Ensure network connectivity throughout a agency's LAN/WAN infrastructure is on par with technical requirements
  • Design and deploy networks
  • Perform network address assignment
  • Assign routing protocols and routing table configuration
  • Assign configuration of authentication and authorization of directory services
  • Maintain network facilities in individual machines, such as drivers and settings of personal computers as well as printers
  • Maintain network servers such as file servers, VPN gateways, intrusion detection systems
  • Administer servers, desktop computers, printers, routers, switches, firewalls, phones, personal digital assistants, smart phones, software deployment, security updates and patches
Qualifications/Educational Requirements
  • Associates Degree required
  • Minimum of 2 years experience
Skills, Knowledge and Abilities
  • Ability to install and support Windows and Mac OS
  • Set-up and maintenance of Microsoft Office and Office365
  • Maintenance of the GRCC Website setting
  • Ability to perform sql data client setup
  • Copier and printer software setup and maintenance
  • Ability to learn NEC Phone System
Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have/be:
  • Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office and Office 365 a must
