The Manager of IS Applications & Informatics contributes, influences, and drives the organizational vision through the strategic enterprise full life cycle management of all revenue cycle, ERP, and customer-facing applications. Evaluates the business needs and associated internal and external customer requirements, develops, and implements technical solutions accordingly to enable the business and strategic growth trajectory. Directs and designs the use and usability of systems to collect, aggregate, and report data to achieve regulatory requirements and efficiency. Responsible for end-user education, adoption, optimization, and training of applications.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
Application Software Architecture and Development- Design and develop business intelligence and reporting solutions using SQL, T-SQL, SSRS, and Power BI technologies based on business requirements
- Design and develop artificial intelligence (AI) solutions
- Review business context for solutions to company challenges, define the vision and requirements, recommend options (including RFIs, RFPs, or prototypes), select the most optimal, and develop a roadmap
- Manage activities during solution ideation, design, and implementation, including responsibility for design, development, and rollout
- Streamline the technology stack, promote standardization and utilization
- Lead financial management activities including solution modeling, budgeting, and spend management, including contract negotiations
- Support software development and QA by coding, testing, and bug fixing
- Track and own each aspect of applications to ensure proper activities and infrastructure support
- Recommend solutions, upgrades, or decommissioning, considering productivity, usability, and total cost of ownership
- Identify emerging technologies and assess their impact on IT applications and reporting
- Implement solutions supporting AI, machine learning, and robotic process automation
- Oversee end-user training, adoption, and optimization
- Manage application team resources, internal and third-party
- Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders and vendors
- Drive data and AI impact across the company
Information Reporting and Analysis- Build datasets, reporting infrastructure, and BI dashboards to support business and customer reporting
- Optimize and automate reporting solutions for decision-making
- Research future reporting and data management tools and solutions
- Create BI reports for internal and external customers, managing the supporting team
- Develop tools for predictive forecasting and financial modeling
- Perform personnel management, goal setting, and performance evaluation to ensure high service levels
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support activities across multiple business units, including equipment sales, repair, field services, and asset management
- Maintain extensive knowledge of software development processes and technologies

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's or master's degree in relevant fields
- Agile/Scrum certifications (optional but a plus)
- At least 5 years managing enterprise applications or BI platforms
- At least 3 years in IT management or technology solutions
- 3+ years in object-oriented programming and full-stack development experience
- Experience with SQL Server tools, Dynamics AX, CRM applications, and development in X++, C#, .NET, SQL
- Financial and contract management experience
