Irrigation Wastewater Operator - Perdue Farms : Job Details

Operators of wastewater treatment plants are tasked with the cleansing of the wastewater. They eliminate harmful organisms and solid waste from industrial wastewater. Operators read and interpret gauges and meters that track the purification process and its functioning they utilize this data to manage the pump,valves, and generators that transport the wastewater through the treatment stages and dispose of the waste materials, maintain, service, and preforms repairs on equipment in order to ensure proper operation of production equipment and electrical systems. Principal and Essential Duties & Responsibilities Reads, interprets and understands manufacturers' equipment manuals, preventative (PM) task sheets and safety policies. Performs equipment adjustments and repairs, preventative maintenance and emergency breakdowns. Performs specific duties during both production and non-production hours in a timely manner with OSHA Lockout/ Tagout and Company safety regulations.
