Job Description :

Total Safety is looking for an IPSC Manager to join their safety-conscious team! The IPSC Manager is responsible for managing all aspects of two or more IPSCs or one very large IPSC. Ensures that IPSC operations are performed and managed in accordance with the Customer's requirements and the Company's programs, policies, and procedures.

Essential Duties
  • Manage all activities associated with assigned operations, develop performance metrics, evaluate performance, and report to management.
  • Ensure communication of production, quality, and safety goals, and that employees understand their roles.
  • Provide effective counsel, especially where corrective actions are needed.
  • Manage facilities, personnel, vehicles, and equipment to maximize efficiency and profitability.
  • Proactively manage inventory and asset availability to meet customer needs.
  • Manage quality, safety, and environmental issues, ensuring compliance with standards and regulations. Work with HSE to develop safety procedures, training, and accident prevention strategies.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Customer Service, and other departments to resolve customer concerns promptly.
  • Support sales and marketing efforts and assist with the development of new product lines or services.
  • Oversee operational issues, including briefing/debriefing, job preparation, and follow-up, reporting status regularly.
  • Prepare documentation related to billing, compliance, customer communication, safety alerts, and quality assurance.
  • Partner with HR for hiring, firing, performance evaluations, and employee relations. Coach and counsel team members, and document issues.
  • Develop departmental training priorities and budgets, ensuring effective utilization of training programs.
  • Coach team members to improve technical and interpersonal skills, and identify learning opportunities.
  • Manage Preventive Maintenance Program and repair facilities and outsourced equipment, ensuring assets are well-maintained.
  • Develop forecasts, departmental goals, and objectives related to staffing, equipment, and problem prevention.
  • Work with others to develop and improve procedures, processes, and work standards, integrating new technologies and practices.
  • Assist with special projects as assigned.
Skills And Experience
  • Experience in Fire Protection Services, Respiratory Protection, and Gas Detection is preferred.
  • At least five (5) years of progressive experience in petrochemical and/or refinery operations or industrial safety equipment industry.
  • Two (2) years of managerial experience.
Working Environment

Combination of office and field/production environments. Some exposure to wet and humid conditions, outside and extreme weather, moving mechanical parts, and high elevations. Travel to customer sites is required.

Educational Requirements

Associates degree or higher in Engineering, Technical, or Business fields.
