Base pay range

$100,000.00/yr - $120,000.00/yr

We will continue to educate the community by empowering our clients to make responsible and informed fiscal decisions that result in greater financial peace of mind.Role OverviewThe Investor Reporting Manager in the mortgage industry plays a pivotal role in overseeing and managing the reporting functions related to mortgage-backed securities and investor relations. This role involves ensuring accurate and timely reporting to investors, adherence to regulatory requirements, and effective collaboration with internal teams.Essential Duties: In addition to related job duties as assigned, this position will:Investor Reporting

• Supervise the preparation and timely submission of investor reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual statements related to mortgage-backed securities.
• Ensure compliance with contractual agreements, regulatory standards, and industry best practices.

Collaboration With Internal Teams

• Coordinate with mortgage servicing, accounting, and finance teams to gather accurate and relevant data for investor reporting.
• Work closely with other departments to address any discrepancies and ensure a cohesive reporting process.

Data Analysis

• Analyze mortgage data, payment trends, and portfolio performance to provide valuable insights to investors.
• Collaborate with data analysts to enhance reporting capabilities and provide meaningful information.

Investor Communication

• Serve as the primary point of contact for investor inquiries regarding mortgage-backed securities.
• Communicate financial results, changes in portfolio composition, and other relevant information to investors in a clear and concise manner.

Risk Management

• Monitor and report on portfolio risk factors, delinquencies, and any other potential issues affecting investor interests.
• Collaborate with risk management teams to address and mitigate risks effectively.

Compliance And Regulatory Oversight

• Stay abreast of regulatory changes affecting mortgage-backed securities.
• Ensure investor reports comply with industry regulations, legal requirements, and any applicable accounting standards.

Team Management

• Lead and manage a team of reporting professionals, providing direction, training, and performance feedback.
• Foster a collaborative and results-driven environment within the reporting team.

Process Improvement

• Identify opportunities to streamline and enhance investor reporting processes.
• Implement improvements to increase accuracy, efficiency, and transparency in reporting.

Audits And Reviews

• Facilitate internal and external audits related to investor reporting for mortgage-backed securities.
• Prepare documentation and respond to audit inquiries to ensure compliance.
