Investment Funds Associate – Class of 2022–2024 – Los Angeles

An AmLaw 15 US law firm is seeking an Investment Funds Associate (Class of 2022–2024) to join its Los Angeles office

This highly regarded team represents many of the world's leading private equity sponsors and institutional investors on the structuring, formation, and operation of private investment funds.

The practice spans buyout, credit, growth equity, real estate, and infrastructure funds, as well as secondaries and other complex fund-related transactions. Associates gain exposure to both sponsor- and investor-side mandates, working directly with senior lawyers on high-value matters that are often at the forefront of market trends.

You will have the opportunity to work across fund formation, governance, regulatory, and investor negotiations. The firm offers Cravath-scale compensation, a globally integrated platform, and strong long-term career prospects. Notably, the partners are also open to retooling strong junior corporate associates into the funds practice.

Key Requirements

• Admitted to practice in California
• Class of 2022–2024
• Solid experience in private investment fund formation and/or corporate practice
• Exposure to sponsor-side or institutional investor representations highly valued
• Current or prior experience at a leading US or international law firm
