Investment Banking Associate - San Blas Securities : Job Details

The Role:

San Blas Capital Markets is in search of an Investment Banking Associate to join our team. An associate at San Blas Capital Markets will participate in transactions' entire lifecycles and build lasting relationships with investors and clients. An associate is expected to operate in a collaborative manor with the team. We are seeking highly motivated and talented individuals. We are particularly interested in experience in the following practice areas:

Equity and Debt Private Placements

IPOs and Secondaries (Nasdaq and NYSE)

Industry Experience of Interest:

1) Technology

2) Consumer Goods

3) Energy

6) Manufacturing

7) Natural Resources

9) Telecommunications

Responsibilities Include:

-Assist in the execution of capital markets, and advisory transactions

-Conduct thorough financial analysis, including financial modeling and valuation

-Prepare pitch materials and presentations for client meetings

-Collaborate with senior bankers to deliver quality deliverables

-Maintain and analyze market research to identify industry trends and opportunities

-Build and strengthen client relationships through effective communication and collaboration

-Build investor coverage network and develop meaningful relationships

Qualifications:

-Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field

- 2+ years of experience in investment banking, private equity, or related fields

-Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with proficiency in financial modeling

-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

-Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities

-Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work

-FINRA SIE, Series 63 & 79 preferred

Compensation:

We are offering above industry standard commission payouts (ranging from 60% to 92.5% depending on the business line and production levels) for this role. This is not a salaried position.
