OWS Capital Management, L.P. is seeking a highly motivated Investment Analyst to join their Relative Value Trading Desk in New York, NY. This role involves collaboration with Portfolio Managers and the trading team to support investment decision-making, manage risk, and optimize portfolio performance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct in-depth portfolio risk analysis and performance attribution
  • Evaluate and model new investment opportunities across structured credit and derivatives markets
  • Monitor and manage existing investment positions
  • Assist Portfolio Managers in trade execution, booking, and reconciling daily P&L and position reports
  • Develop and maintain relationships with trading counterparties
  • Research and explore new trading strategies
  • Generate and maintain daily risk and exposure reports
  • Collaborate with internal teams including operations, risk, and technology to ensure data accuracy and process efficiency
Qualifications:
  • 0–3 years of experience in structured finance, credit derivatives, or a related field
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Finance, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related discipline from a top-tier university
  • Strong understanding of the principles of finance, business operations, and mathematical and/or statistical modeling
  • Proficiency in Excel, with the ability to build and maintain complex models
  • Exposure to databases or programming languages (e.g. Python, SQL)
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Demonstrated interest in markets, trading, and relative value strategies
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with Intex, Bloomberg, or other fixed income analytics platforms
  • Familiarity with CDS mechanics and credit derivatives
Compensation:
  • Initial salary range $100,000 to $150,000
  • Compensation is reviewed annually
