The Investment Analyst – 2 Year Program is an intensive opportunity at Capricorn Investment Group where the individual will be deeply involved in supporting the firm's investment strategies and managing the portfolio process. The role is part of the OCIO and Sustainable Investors Fund mandates, excluding any focus on the venture capital arm. Over the two-year period, the candidate will engage in portfolio analysis, investment origination, and capital commitment into external fund managers across diverse asset classes. • Support portfolio management through market, performance, and risk analysis.
• Assist in sourcing, due diligence, negotiating, monitoring, and exiting investment opportunities.
• Build financial models to facilitate portfolio management and investment due diligence.
• Integrate sustainability and diversity considerations into the investment process.
• Prepare and present comprehensive investment recommendation documents.

• 1 – 4 years of experience in investment banking, investment/asset management, or related fields.

• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to work autonomously with proactive problem-solving skills.
• Experience with data providers such as Preqin, Pitchbook, and Bloomberg is preferred.
• Experience with CRM systems is preferred; SQL and Python skills are a plus.
• Minimum education: BA/BS in Finance, Economics, Engineering, or Data Analytics.
• Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time.
