Inventory Support Specialist - Westchester Medical Center Health : Job Details

Inventories and/or stocks or updates medical, surgical and perioperative locations throughout the medical center. Major functions include automated inventory control and maintenance, receiving, distribution of supplies and customer service. Responsibilities: Maintains appropriate logs and records relating to system (including Par Excellence, Pyxis and PMM) maintenance, implementation, inventory control and training. Works directly with the Director and Manager of distribution along with Par Ex to provide technical support for the Materials Management Information System Maintenance including Par Excellence (the Automated Weighted Bin Par Replenishment System), Pyxis (the Automated Point-of-Use Inventory System used for replenishment and billing) and PMM (the Materials Management and Financial Management System). Inventories, replenishes and delivers supplies to all patient care areas on a daily basis according to established inventory par-levels.
