Position : Inventory Specialist
Reports to : Manager
Job Types : Full-time and Part-Time
Schedule : Available weekdays and weekends; opening, closing, and any other shifts.
Pay : $19.50-20.50 / hr
Summary
The Inventory Specialist is responsible for accepting and accurately processing deliveries, and ensuring proper labeling and stocking of bins and racks.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and accept product deliveries.
- Visually inspect all products being processed for Quality Assurance, looking for any defective, visually damaged, or subpar (respectively) product.
- Manage and update the inventory in Point of Sale (POS) system, ensuring all information for each product is accurate, such as cost, price, testing, pictures, descriptions, etc.
- Label all product packaging, bins, and racks while intaking new product.
- Manage all product deficiencies, recalls, expirations, and waste.
- Manage inventory rotation to ensure the Sales Floor does not run out of readily available products.
- Conduct regular (nightly, monthly, and yearly) inventory audits to verify stock levels, identify discrepancies, and report any issues to the Manager.
- Regularly communicate with Store Leads and Budtenders on new and almost gone products, estimate re-stock dates for sold-out items, and any other education or information vendors provide to sell products. That includes updating any in-house training documents for products.
- Update and maintain menus in-store (digital and/or paper) or online on our website at least once weekly.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to all safety protocols and procedures.
- Help on the sales floor as a Budtender whenever needed.
- Attend and take responsibility for all training and education, including, but not limited to, products, compliance, and security.
- Follow all company policies and procedures.
- Adhere to all state compliance requirements.
- Any other responsibilities as determined by the Manager.

General Requirements
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 21 years of age.
- Able to obtain and maintain a current CRC badge or any other state requirements.
- Able to successfully pass an extensive background check.
- Minimum of 1 to 2 years of experience in inventory management. Is detail-oriented with demonstrated expertise in inventory control, organization, communication, reporting, and problem-solving.
- Able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Able to write, hear, understand, and verbally communicate with others in English, and clearly and effectively relay comments, questions, and concerns.
- Able to respond professionally under emergency circumstances.

Physical Requirements
- Must be able to stand in one position for a prolonged period of time. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; talk or hear; taste or smell.
- Must be able to operate office electronics for a prolonged period of time.
- Must be able to frequently crouch, kneel, and bend.
- Must be able to frequently lift objects up to 50 pounds to waist level and carry items for up to 100 feet.
- Must be able to focus and work in a dispensary atmosphere with moving objects, abundant or flashing lighting sources, and an active sound system.
- Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
