At Medly, our mission is to elevate the healthcare journey for all patients - regardless of income, lifestyle, or diagnosis.We are seeking a knowledgeable Order Processing Specialist with experience as a Pharmacy Technician & managing the strategic forecasting and purchasing of an independent pharmacys inventory. As the Order Processing Specialist, youll make certain that we have the proper supply to meet our patients needs while analyzing trends and ensuring that non-moving items are returned to wholesalers in a timely manner. Job Description What youll do:? Perform daily analysis to predict and prevent potential inventory problems? Continuously analyze pharmacy usage and adjust forecasting accordingly? Analyze different suppliers to obtain the best cost-effective deals? Maintain and expand your knowledge of generic NDCs and their profit margins? Ensure that overstock is returned in a timely and efficient manner? Minimize inventory loss by incorporating best supply chain practices? Present recommendations to leadership for improvements in inventory life cycle? Present monthly spending reports to internal stakeholders? Define inventory KPIs (metrics) and track them regularly? Document daily deliveries and shipments to update inventory? Pull the inventories which are near to expirationWhat youll gain:? Competitive compensation and benefits? Four or more years of experience as a pharmacy technician in an independent retailsetting coordinating the strategic purchasing and maintenance of medication supply? Proven experience managing pharmacy inventory and analyzing trends to forecast need? Strong knowledge of different generic NDCs and their respective profit margins? Experience negotiating purchase orders with pharmacy wholesale suppliers? Exceptional math skills and ability to calculate brand/generic ratios efficiently?
