We are looking for an Inventory Specialist to join out growing team at our test site at the Stennis Space Center in Mississippi. The Stennis team at Relativity Space is responsible for designing, building, and operating world-class test stands to support the Terran 1 stages, engines, and propulsion components. As part of this team, you will support supply chain and logistics efforts to ensure the team has the necessary goods and materials to effectively and efficiently operate and you will be able to witness rocket engines firing up close and personal! **What youll do:**

As an Inventory Specialist on the Stennis team, you will be at the forefront of creating a world class test facility. In order to be successful in this role, you should be someone who is able to operate in a fast-paced environment, having completed difficult projects while collaborating effectively across various technical groups. The ability to perform work at the highest quality with minimal direction is key.

Your role will be to support inventory, shipping, and receiving activities on a daily basis while helping to develop and implement sitewide inventory and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) improvements.

To help achieve our ambitious goals, as Inventory Specialist you will:

* Stand up Relativity Space inventory system for all test hardware and expense material.

* Manage warehousing and inventory function of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP).

* Pick, lift, organize, and move standard hardware, raw material, purchased parts, machined details, and assemblies to support inventory control for test facility.

* Perform picking function to create necessary kits of parts, material, and hardware as required and assuring that all parts are accounted for and available in kits.

* Monitor storage and maintain proper rotation of stock.

* Perform daily cycle counts.

* Assist with shipping and receiving functions

**What you need to know:**

* 4+ years of experience in logistics, inventory, or material handling role.

* ERP system experience (LN, Oracle, SAP).

* Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office and Atlassian tools.

* Capability to operate a forklift and other related warehouse equipment.

* This role may require you to lift packages which may weigh up to 50lbs.

* Able to stand for extended periods of time.

**Nice to haves but not required:**

* 6+ years in Inventory Specialist or Material Management role

* Experience working in aerospace / launch services industry

* Interest and knowledge in flight hardware and terminology
