About the role

The Shipping and Receiving Specialist is responsible for assisting with the day-to-day movement of all consumables in the Production Warehouse. The S&R Specialist ensures proper consumable inventory levels are maintained at all times. This role will handle many projects at one time and calls for an incredible eye for detail.

Responsibilities

Inventory Responsibilities:

  • Assist with inventory counts and organization. Verifying the accuracy of physical daily, weekly, and monthly counts.
  • Manage all returns and products to be destroyed in accordance with state compliance laws.
  • Create custom menus within Leaflink and update menus accordingly.
  • Maintain inventory sheets or information systems.
  • Creation of invoices and Manifests, ensuring all information is accurate and compliant with federal and state laws.
  • Create and update inventory product items in LeafLink for all Timeless Brands
  • Add new customers/accounts to Leaflink. Update existing contact information, delivery instructions, and customer tier status.
  • Responsible for ensuring that all consumable intake items are in accordance with state compliance laws.
  • Conduct random inventory audits at your discretion
  • Verify the accuracy of physical daily, weekly, and monthly counts

Shipping & Receiving Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the storage of inventory and monitoring products
  • Studies shipping notices, bills of lading, invoices, orders, and other records to determine shipping priorities and methods required to meet shipping and receiving schedules.
  • Assist with incoming and outgoing shipping activities to ensure accuracy, completeness, and condition of shipments.
  • Pull products based on department requests.
  • Package appropriately for transit via UPS / FedEx / or other methods as directed or required
  • Consolidates deliveries based on shipment size and optimizes routing based on real-time data, including pick-up locations
  • Collaborate with other departments and managers to optimize processes, following account or shipment-specific instructions to meet expectations
  • Complete necessary paperwork per transaction requirements, and resolve any issues
  • Coordinate with carrier personnel as directed
  • Receive incoming product
  • Inspect, review, and verify consumables and the number of consumables against purchase order documentation.
  • Review for any damage and take appropriate steps
  • Accurately put products away in the correct locations
  • Receive products in the computer system to maintain accurate inventory counts
  • Determines space requirements and position of shipment inside the Vault, keeping storage accurate
  • Direct movement of shipments from the shipping and receiving platform to storage and work areas
  • Promote the mission, vision, and values of the company to all team members at all times
  • Engage in honest, innovative, problem-solving dialogue
  • Cooperates with the manager and ensures compliance with all company policies, Standard Operating Procedures, and Good Manufacturing Practices
  • Ensures the highest quality product is produced by continually striving to improve company and department policies.
Candidate Qualifications

Skills

  • Working knowledge of logistics procedures
  • Software programs such as Leaflogix and Click-Up
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office / G-Suite (especially Excell / Sheets)
  • Organizational and communication skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Problem-solving abilities

Experience

  • 2+ years experience in a quality or manufacturing department of a pharmaceutical or medical marijuana facility
  • Experience with product Q/C and Q/A
  • Experience within a regulated environment
  • Experience preparing shipping documents

Educational Background / Certificates

  • Minimum of High School Diploma / GED with work experience

Additional Qualifications

  • Must be twenty-one (21) years of age
  • Must consent to a criminal background check performed by the Company and/or state officials.
  • Employment offers are contingent upon the successful completion of the criminal background check for cannabis badging.
  • Valid State Issued ID

  • Must occasionally lift and move up to 75 pounds
  • Must be able to perform all duties on their feet during an 8-hour up to a 12-hour shift.
