PRIMARY OBJECTIVE OF POSITION
Oversee all supply management activities for procured materials and services, ensuring inventory items are properly identified and accessible.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES / ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Manage procurement processes including RFPs, negotiations, and purchase orders for materials, supplies, equipment, and services.
- Process POs, monitor deliveries, and communicate with warehouse and sales teams.
- Maintain ordering systems, bills of materials, and onsite supply management.
- Handle receiving, inventory updates in SAGE, cycle counts, and device history reports.
- Monitor inventory levels, valuation, open POs, and variances daily.
- Coordinate travel arrangements and deliveries, and oversee quarterly and annual inventories.
- Act as liaison for IT and phone services, and maintain records of assets and lab equipment.
- Conduct internal audits, develop purchasing strategies, and ensure quality control.
- Perform humidity checks, forecast sales, and assist finance teams with COGS, AP, and AR.
- Develop procurement policies, track performance metrics, and maintain reports.
- Engage with vendors, conduct research for best product value, and manage inventory replenishment.
- Evaluate bids, negotiate deals, and monitor product and service quality.
- Coordinate inventories, ensure proper labeling, and maintain inventory levels aligned with demand.
- Manage budgets, communicate with management, and support Lean and Six Sigma initiatives.

Qualifications
Education
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Purchasing, Business, or related field preferred.
Experience and Skills
- At least 3 years of purchasing and inventory experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong computer skills.
- Strong mathematical aptitude.
- 2 years of purchasing management experience.
- Lean and Six Sigma training and experience.
- Knowledge of injection molding processes.
