Inventory & Fulfillment Operations Manager
At Dossier, we're disrupting the fragrance and beauty industry with high-quality, clean, and affordable products. We're rapidly scaling across direct-to-consumer (DTC), retail, Amazon, and wholesale channels—and we're looking for an experienced Inventory & Fulfillment Operations Manager to lead our backend operations with precision and agility.
This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in inventory management, 3PL oversight, B2B fulfillment, and Excel-based data analysis, who thrives in fast-paced environments and knows how to keep both warehouse floors and retail partners moving in sync.
The Role
You will oversee the full scope of inventory operations across all Business Units (DTC and B2B), PO management, 3PL coordination, and platform fulfillment. You'll be at the center of our supply chain—managing complex workflows for Amazon, Walmart, CVS, Target, TikTok Shop, and more.
Inventory & Warehouse Management
- Maintain zero-tolerance for OOS by implementing dynamic inventory alerts, service-level flags, and threshold-based reorder systems.
- Own inventory planning across all sales channels—DTC, B2B, Amazon, Walmart, TikTok Shop—with accurate SKU-level allocation to prevent out-of-stock risks.
- Drive FEFO implementation and continuous process optimization for expiration-sensitive items and packaging SKUs.
- Maintain accurate inventory records across multiple SKUs and warehouses globally.
- Coordinate physical inventory counts, cycle audits, and SKU transitions (e.g., GS1, RFID readiness).
- Identify and implement space optimization and cost reduction strategies within warehouses.
- Ensure real-time PO tracking dashboards in Excel are updated and shared proactively with stakeholders.
- Place, track, and manage Purchase Orders (POs) for key retail and ecommerce partners (Amazon FBA, Walmart, Target, CVS, etc.) on a weekly basis.
- Share shipment tracking updates and ETAs with internal stakeholders and retail partners.
- Ensure compliance with EDI and non-EDI requirements.
Data, Excel & Performance Analysis
- Use advanced Excel skills to analyze inventory levels, PO progress, and supply chain KPIs.
- Generate reports on fulfillment costs, lead times, and service levels to drive continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with finance to produce and review monthly operational performance metrics (e.g., CM2, EOM).
- Own advanced Excel workflows: pivot tables, power queries, nested formulas, conditional formatting, automation for inventory alerts, and reconciliation tools.
- Design dashboards and tracking systems to visualize SKU health, aging inventory, fulfillment SLAs, and partner performance.
Ecommerce & Multichannel Operations
- Oversee inventory updates and order fulfillment across DTC (Shopify), marketplaces (Amazon, Walmart), and retail platforms.
- Ensure accurate listings, allocations, and order routing based on demand forecasting and retail calendars.
- Create and maintain allocation frameworks that allow for real-time inventory balancing across multiple platforms and warehouses.
- Lead projects to reduce aging stock and increase product rotation using FEFO logic across all partners.
- Train, mentor and enforce 3PL teams on SOPs, operational excellence, and fulfillment strategy.
- Drive cost optimization initiatives and negotiate rate reductions for storage, pick/pack, and transport.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Business, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in inventory, fulfillment, or supply chain operations—preferably in a multichannel or retail environment.
- Proven B2B fulfillment experience with Amazon, Walmart, CVS, or similar retailers.
- Deep knowledge of fulfillment compliance for retailers like Walmart, Target, Amazon FBA, and emerging platforms (e.g., TikTok Shop).
- High proficiency in Excel.
- Detail-oriented and comfortable managing multiple POs, partners, and timelines simultaneously.
- Strong communicator and collaborator across vendors, fulfillment teams, and internal departments.
