About the Job

The Inventory Control Manager will oversee all Finished Goods Inventory (FGI) received into inventory and METRC, ensure physical organization, tagging and labeling, and maintain inventory accuracy. This role will also own the quality control and inspection process for all FGI.

What You Will Do
  • After transfer by Supply Chain, quality check, count, systemically receive, organize, label, split, and put away products.
  • Ensure product is picked, packed, and pulled according to FIFO standards.
  • Oversee METRC and ERP platforms to ensure data accuracy.
  • Review and audit Inventory Logs to perform weekly cycle counts, review on-hand inventory, and track aging products.
  • Supervise the Inventory Control team to conduct daily duties as outlined.
  • Investigate and resolve any inventory UID discrepancies found during cycle counts.
  • Maintain inventory location accuracy and locate misclassified inventory as needed.
  • Ensure returns and order rejections are processed back into warehouse inventory promptly; reroute product as requested.
  • Lead end-of-month inventory meetings with Distribution and Finance and create monthly action plans for improvement.
  • Present monthly inventory results to the Operations Team during weekly calls.
  • Comply with company policies and procedures regarding inventory control.
  • Collaborate with the Distribution Compliance Manager to ensure regulations are followed and address issues as needed.
  • Ensure samples and other R&D products are processed quickly for Marketing or Influencer events.
  • Utilize company information systems at advanced levels for reporting, data analysis, and process improvements.
  • Articulate operating processes and continuously seek improvements; apply formal inventory management and distribution techniques and optimization methodologies.
  • Promote positive employee relations and deliver sustainable results through leadership.
  • Other duties as assigned by Management.
What We Are Looking For
  • Must be 21+ years of age.
  • Embrace Connected's Mission and Values daily.
  • 3–5 years of inventory management experience preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • Experience with systems integration and troubleshooting ERP/WMS; programming knowledge is a plus.
  • Experience with mobile applications and configuring systems to support changing operations; programming knowledge is valuable.
  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
  • Adaptable to changing work environments and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Cannabis industry experience is a plus; familiarity with local/state cannabis laws and regulations is a plus.
  • College degree preferred but not required.
  • Reliable with a strong work ethic.
  • Ability to operate motorized equipment (e.g., forklift, vans, box trucks) is a plus.
  • Role may require weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.
  • Compliance with all legal and company regulations for working in the industry.
  • A post-offer, pre-employment background check may be required.
  • Physical requirements: ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and to perform required movements (lift, carry, reach, push/pull, bend, climb, stand, sit) for the duration of the shift.
Compensation

The hourly pay range for this position in the selected city is $25.00–$29.00 per hour. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.
