LOCATION: Greater Philadelphia, PA / Greater Trenton, NJ

Kore Recruiters is seeking an experienced Inventory Control Manager to join our client who is a leading North American manufacturer. Our client is well known in the industry with 15+ manufacturing facilities across the United States and abroad.

This is a key role supporting one of the top manufacturing plants in PA. As an Inventory Control Manager you'll be responsible for directing and managing the tasks related to inventory management. Selected ICM will interface with the various team leaders, and disciplines, in order to review and provide analysis of plant inventory.

• Accountability for coordinating and planning the production control, inventory management, scheduling and material planning.
• Accountability for managing the inventory levels for finished goods and raw materials.
• Coordinate and direct the activities related with keeping accurate records on the incoming as well as outgoing shipments and preparing the items so that they can be shipped.
• Using discretion and independent judgment for directing the activities of inventory matters.
• Provide the necessary leadership that is associated with building as well as maintaining a strong inventory management workforce
• Manage and coordinate the activities of all the staff members engaged in inventory control and inventory record accuracy
• Execute the strategic inventory plan and to manage and supervise the processes developed by the material management department in order to align with the corporate objectives
• Lead the organization's inventory related teams and provide leadership for training and development of departmental personnel
• Maintain inventory as required by the sales and operations planning process, customer requirements, production schedules and corporate inventory management objectives
• Review the current inventory positions for the raw materials, packaging materials, finished goods and to provide monthly summary of the same and to present it during the meeting

Additional Duties:

• Cycle Countingmanagement and supervision
• Coordinating and Conducting Physical Inventories
• Manage Customer Credits and customer Returns
• Responsible for Material Review Board process
• Oversee and report on transactional accuracy around PO and Invoicing
• Responsible for management and reconciliation of Outside Services and offsite inventory
• Meet company goals for key KPIs of Safety, Quality, Delivery, Engagement and Cost
• Conducting Root Cause and Corrective actions for Inventory variances

Educational Qualifications:

• A BS or BA in materials, manufacturing operations, or supply chain is preferred along with some knowledge in the management related area of logistics and materials or related equivalent experience
• Knowledge of computers with some certification in the relevant technical field highly preferred
• Minimum: Associates Degree with extensive inventory management experience preferred
