Responsibilities POSITION SUMMARY: The Inventory Control Lead is to assist with managing the full physical inventory of the site. The Inventory Control position involves ensuring accurate inventory is maintained, investigate any discrepancies found and correcting these discrepancies. The position requires the individual to coordinate with all departments on ensuring proper management of inventory, rearranging materials when necessary and to correct any unusual movement in the inventory, such as material being in the wrong location RESPONSIBILITIES : Ensuring integrity and accuracy of inventory by verifying physical inventory against electronic inventory records. Performs routine and ad-hoc inventory counts and reconciles to inventory system. Process improvement is encouraged, such as material flow optimization, updating and mapping current processes. Cycle Counting - Each location should be counted as per schedule, including off-site Ensuring processes for inventory accuracy are being properly followed in the plant. Assist in ensuring proper FIFO guidelines are being correctly followed. Accountability for dispositions directed by management, such as inventory damage, QA holds, and obsoletes. Work with other departments to ensure proper staging of materials needed for weeks' Assist with identification, and organization of non- inventory items. Conduct safety inspections of the warehouse(s)and report data into GDC Ensure all GMPs are followed, such as: Housekeeping, 5S and FIFO. Physical Inventory coordinator, take point on all aspects of the physical inventory along with the Controller. Other relevant duties can be assigned as needed. Qualifications QUALIFICATIONS: HS Diploma or equivalent, 2 years of related experience Knowledgeable in JDEdwards inventory functions is Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, and Must be detail oriented, organized, and have the ability to multi- Must be able to operate a forklift and a pallet Must be able to bend and lift heavy boxes up to 50 Be self-motivated and work under minimum Must be fluent in English and have strong communication and interpersonal Bilingual is a plus.
