Inventory Control Clerk - 1st Shift - Caterpillar : Job Details

As an Inventory Coordinator at Caterpillar Inc., you will work from a variety of source documents to verify part numbers, part locations and quantities. Ensure daily shipments are prepared and loaded correctly to include weight distribution and paperwork accuracy. In addition to counting parts and coordinating order fulfilment, you will also manage traceability of parts through the value streams and target aged inventory. Job Duties/ Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:Manage order fulfilment, processing, storing/picking of parts, equipment and supplies. Manage and oversee shipping and receiving of material. Multiple systems interactions. Coordinate expedited parts to support the customer. Manage zones through targeting aged inventory, leading reconciliation and investigating root causeSupporting and leading inventory problem-solving events to drive continuous improvement.
