Overview:

Job Summary: Responsible for greeting and assisting customers in locating merchandise and deterring theft at the entrance and exit doors while ensuring total customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

Job Duties:

  • Greet each customer entering the store and aid customers by locating requested merchandise.
  • React and conduct recoveries of merchandise from potential shoplifters by following company policy with customer service techniques.
  • Assist management personnel in accurately completing incident reports when shoplifting incidents occur or when a recovery has occurred.
  • Assist store personnel with exceptional customer service and aid in the deterrence of theft.
  • Timely and efficient communication to Management or Supervisor on all incidents.
  • Respond to all EAS activations, accurately complete the EAS Alarm Activity Log and communicate all FTDs to Management or Supervisor.
  • Follow proper procedures for store opening on testing of EAS Alarm system to ensure equipment is working properly.
  • Request additional help as needed to maintain appropriate customer service levels or when suspicious activity occurs.
  • Implement, Replenish and Maintain all EAS equipment in adherence to the EAS Program.
  • Conduct EAS tagging and EAS equipment usage compliance on store specific or company driven EAS compliance items.
  • Perform general housekeeping on the public view monitors and ensuring equipment is working properly.
  • Assist with inventory management by communicating potential losses of merchandise to Management.
  • Responsible for completing all mandatory and regulatory training programs
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:

Education:

  • Minimum: High School Diploma (or currently enrolled in) or GED

Experience:

  • Preferred: 0-2 years previous experience in related position

Special Conditions of Employment:

  • Drug test
  • Initial and continuous exclusion and sanction/disciplinary monitoring
  • Any and all additional eligibility requirements based on the specific position

Compensation:

$15.45 - 18.15 an hour

The final offer will be determined after careful consideration of multiple factors such as relevant skills, years of experience and education.
