Pay starts at $18.25 with a $1 shift differential for 2nd and 3rd shifts 2nd Shift - Inventory Control, 12 Tradeport Rd, Wilkes-Barre, PA Position: Inventory Control Specialist with High Reach Forklift and Cherry Picker experience is a requirement for this position. In addition to Merchandise Inspection and Cycle Counting Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough merchandise inspections to identify quality issues, damages, or discrepancies.
- Perform regular cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and update inventory systems.
- Collaborate with purchasing and receiving departments to reconcile discrepancies.
- Monitor inventory levels and alert management of low stock or potential stockouts.
- Coordinate with warehouse and logistics teams for accurate inventory movements.
- Implement and enforce inventory control procedures and best practices.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies or issues.
- Prepare reports and analyze inventory data for improvement.
- Assist in developing inventory management strategies.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in inventory management is a plus.
- Proven experience in inventory control, merchandise inspection, and cycle counting.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in inventory management software and MS Office applications.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Requirements:
- Conduct regular physical count cycle counting.
- Utilize cycle counting techniques for precise inventory counts.
- Perform detailed merchandise inspections and update records.
- Collaborate with purchasing department to reconcile purchase orders.
- Identify and investigate inventory discrepancies.
