Inventory Clerk - $28.50 per hour - Westlake Chemical Corporation : Job Details

Working under the general supervision of the Distribution Superintendent, following specific procedures, performs a variety of duties to effectively control the inventory of finished goods. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES - May include, but are not limited to, the following:Unload inbound loads using material handling equipment and receive in WMS correctly. Ensure all shipping documentation is complete, accurate, and matches the inventory being shipped, including product codes, quantities, weights, and descriptions. Coordinate with warehouse staff to verify packaging and labeling aligns with BOL documentation. Partner with Warehouse Lead and Superintendent to determine staffing needs for prompt inventory put-away in the designated areas. Monitor inbound load accuracy and partner with transferring warehouses or quality control team to resolve discrepancies immediately. Repackage any damaged packaging found during the receiving process.
