**Inventory Analyst (NA Supply Chain)**

**Position Summary:**

The Inventory Analyst provides process, analytical and transactional support to the North American Supply Chain. Provides key interface with North American network of warehouses and manages the inventory levels and controlreplenishment. This is a lead role in coordinating warehouse locations, inventory and stocking levels.

**Job Responsibilities:**

* Manage the inventory levels in our warehouses and recommend and adjust DRP restock levels at all sites based on current sales activity, forecasts using analytical reporting. Assess slow moving/obsolete inventory (SMOs), recommending optimal movements.

* Serves as primary contact for Third Party warehouses. Ensure accuracy and completeness of orders for shipments to Third Party warehouses, including order requirements, C of As, SDS sheets, etc. Enters orders to replenish Third Party warehouses, arranges freight carriers and completes necessary paperwork for shipments to warehouses. Provides export documentation for warehouse transfer shipments into Mexico and Canada.

* Incorporate all North American warehouses into one system, including US, Canada, Mexico including weekly reporting on key matrix.

* Track our Carriers performance and provide weekly scorecard. Recommend improvements and provide feedback and suggestions to improve service and lower costs.

* In support of S&OP leader, assess velocity of key products thru the warehouses, recommending system wide stocking levels and locations.

* Manages Stocking Agreements/Requests and reviews activities and follows ups with new recommendations. Communicate to plants, sales of changes.

* Support and process warehouse and consignment physical inventories.

**Education, Training and Experience:**

* Bachelors Degree required, ideally with emphasis in supply chain, inventory management and/or procurement/logistics plus 5-7 years of related experience.

* JDE or other ERP system experience or similar.

* Strong analytical skills esp. data manipulation.

* Supply Chain, Inventory management background (desired), or procurement /logistics exp (helpful).
