Full-Time, Day Shift - 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
On Call: 7-8 call shifts per month (1 shift per week and 1 weekend per month) within a 30-minute radius

Job Summary:
- As an Interventional Radiology Technologist under the general supervision of a Radiologist, you will perform high-quality interventional radiology procedures on both ambulatory and hospital patients. Your role will be essential in the diagnosis of diseases and injuries, adhering to established protocols.
Essential Functions Experience:
- Conduct high-quality IR procedures efficiently, maintaining established production and quality standards.
- Use AIDET principles to effectively communicate with patients and ensure correct procedures are performed.
- Prepare patients and the procedure area, ensuring safety and compliance with infection-control policies.
- Maintain equipment and work areas to meet cleanliness standards and report any issues to management.
- Ensure proper documentation and medical imaging records are maintained in compliance with department policies.
- Proven ability to perform detailed interventional radiology procedures autonomously.
- Strong communication skills with a knack for putting patients at ease.
- Capable of thriving in fast-paced environments and managing stress effectively.
- Experience with first aid and emergency procedures.
- Demonstrated commitment to continuous education and the ability to mentor new team members.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited program with experience in a busy IR lab (Neuro and Trauma experience preferred).
- BLS certification within 30 days of hire.
- ARRT-R Radiography certification required.
- Valid Texas Medical Board MRT license.
- Certification in ARRT Cardiac Interventional Radiography (ARRT-CI), ARRT Interventional Radiography (ARRT-VI), or ARRT Cardiovascular Interventional Radiography (ARRT-CV) within two years of hire.
