Interventional Rad Tech - Nurses and More : Job Details

Interventional Rad Tech - Diagnostic 13-week Contract in Bronx, NY with an opportunity for extension at 8-week increments at a time - Pay is $51 per hour (non-taxed stipend option available)

DUTIES: Assist interventional radiologists with minimally invasive, image-guided procedures that use instruments to treat conditions in the body. They are responsible for operating and maintaining specialized imaging equipment, administering contrast dyes, and ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the procedure.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Have a minimum 1 year of experience using angiographic equipment, balloon angioplasty and stenting
• Have a valid license as a radiologic technologist issued by NYSDOH. (Willing to accept out of state license if candidate is willing to obtain NY license after offer)
• BLS certification issued by AHA

• Varicella, TDAP, MMR, and HEP B vaccinations

CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: ARRT Advanced-Level Certification from one (1) of the following:

-(CI) - Cardiac Interventional Radiology.

-(CV) - Cardiovascular Interventional Radiology.

-(VI) - Vascular Interventional Radiology

Knowledge in Computed Tomography is a plus
