The Intervention Support Specialist is a temporary part-time position dependent upon grant funding. This position will work four hours per day up to 164 days per year from 9/1/2025-5/31/2026. The rate is $37/hr. for individials holding a teaching certificate. The rate for non-certificated candidates is $35/hr. Each elementary school will be staffed with three Intervention Support Specialists; two for reading intervention and one for math intervention. The Intermediate School will be staffed with one reading/math intervention position. Job Goal: The Elementary Intervention Support Specialist will collaborate with classroom teachers, literacy coaches, and principals to develop and deliver strategies to assist students in learning essential literacy and mathematics skills. Qualifications:

• Minimum of a bachelor's degree
• Appropriate Pennsylvania Department of Education (PDE) certification in elementary education preferred.
• Proven communication and instructional strategies
• Classroom management skills
• Excellent communication skills both orally and writing
• Excellent organizational skills
• Enhanced knowledge of instruction
