This is a onsite fulltime contract position for Intervention Specialist starting pay at 43 dollars an hour and up (based on experience) in the Cleveland, Ohio area. Responsibilities Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for students with IEPs and 504 Plans Provide specialized instruction and support to help students achieve academic and social goals Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to create a nurturing learning environment Adapt teaching methods and materials to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities Assess student progress and adjust instructional strategies accordingly Skills Proven experience as a Intervention Specialist/Special Education Teacher Excellent understanding of the principles of child development and educational methodology Familiarity with safety and sanitation guidelines for classrooms Excellent communication and instructional skills Ability to act as mediator between children Cool-tempered, friendly, reliable, and adaptable Requirements Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education (or related field) Valid state (OH) teaching certification/license in Special Education Prior experience working with students with special needs is preferred Strong knowledge of special education laws and regulations Job Type: Full-time Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Physical Setting: Charter school Schedule: 8 hour shift Monday to Friday No nights No weekends Education: Bachelor's (Required) Experience: Teaching: 1 year (Required) Special education: 1 year (Required) License/Certification: Teaching Certification (Required) Special Education Certification (Required) Work Location: In person If interested or need any additional Information please contact me .
