Position Summary: In our retail locations, we welcome US Non-Accredited Foreign Graduates to support our pharmacy teams in providing outstanding service, while also preparing for greater responsibilities in your career. After successfully passing the FPGEE and TOEFL exams, you will have the chance to complete your required US Internship hours, applying your academic knowledge in a practical setting under the guidance of your preceptor.

This internship allows you to develop vital skills and participate in various pharmacy practices aimed at enhancing patient care. You'll engage with experienced leaders, deepen your business acumen, and learn how to effectively contribute to team dynamics in a pharmacy environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Follow company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to help manage patient health and facilitate smooth pharmacy operations.
  • Gain hands-on experience with prescription fulfillment across various workstations, maintaining accuracy and safety in delivery.
  • Enhance patient experience through compassionate care, assisting with immunizations, and addressing patient inquiries under pharmacist supervision.
  • Participate in the management of pharmacy inventory and logistics, ensuring adherence to relevant laws and regulations.
  • Engage as an integral member of the pharmacy team, fostering a supportive and growth-oriented environment.
  • Actively seek out feedback to improve your clinical and technical skills, expanding your capabilities to assist patients effectively.

Qualifications:

  • Graduated from a Non-US Accredited pharmacy school before joining the US Non-Accredited Foreign Graduate Training Program.
  • Required certifications: FPGEC certification.
  • Must possess or be in the process of obtaining intern and/or technician licensure as required.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a team, ensuring effective communication with colleagues and patients.

Physical Demands: The role requires mobility and the ability to work on your feet for extended periods, performing tasks that may include lifting, reaching, and engaging with customers.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of experience in a pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting.
  • Willingness to obtain immunization certification to enhance patient care services.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite applications.
