Oversee a comprehensive range of financial and accounting functions, including bookkeeping, financial reporting, tax compliance, audit readiness, and advisory services. This role requires a deep understanding of various accounting standards and tax regulations, including US GAAP and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). The position involves leading financial and tax planning and analysis, ensuring compliance with financial and tax regulations, and managing client interactions to deliver high-quality financial services. Prepare management and financial reports in accordance with US GAAP and IFRS. Prepare consolidated financial statements and evaluate foreign exchange exposure. Review financial statements to ensure that they are complete, accurate, and comply with laws and regulations. Coordinate U.S. tax laws with foreign tax laws to develop efficient worldwide tax strategies. Prepare federal and state income tax returns for various entities and individuals. Plan for state and local tax exposure and assist with federal and state tax credits. Resolve tax audits and notices and mitigate multi-state tax exposure.
MIN REQ: Bachelor of Science in Accounting or Economics, or the foreign equivalents and 60 months of progressively responsible post-baccalaureate work experience in the job offered or related occupation utilizing US GAAP and IFRS. Employer will accept any suitable combination of education, training, and/or experience. Position requires licensure as a US Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
