Job DescriptionInternational Construction Manager - Bulk Material Handling Systems (Ship Loading Equipment) career opportunity available! Location:Based out of Alpharetta, GA 30005 (Training and Home Office)100% Travel: ~ 80%Asia (primarily China); ~ 20% U.S.Overview:An industry-leading global manufacturer specializing in bulk material handling systems and large-scale ship loading equipment is seeking a talented Construction Manager to oversee the on-site construction and installation of complex mechanical systems.You will work internationally with a seasoned U.S.-based engineering team providing support.This is a Direct Hire, Full-Time opportunity.Why You'll Love It:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage all phases of on-site construction, assembly, and installation of large-scale ship loading systems
  • Collaborate with engineering teams from U.S. headquarters to ensure specifications and quality standards are met
  • Lead and coordinate field crews, subcontractors, and third-party vendors
  • Monitor project schedules, budgets, and progress to ensure timely completion
  • Ensure safety compliance and quality control across all activities
  • Provide hands-on troubleshooting and leadership during critical construction milestones
Qualifications:
  • ~ 7+ years of Construction Management experience, preferably in heavy industrial, mechanical equipment, or material handling system assembly
  • Experience managing overseas or international construction projects highly preferred
  • Strong background in mechanical assembly, industrial construction, or systems integration
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and cross-cultural collaboration skills
  • Ability to travel 100% (primarily across Asia, with support from the U.S.)
Other Details:
  • Initial training based in Alpharetta, GA
  • Assignments primarily in China and Southeast Asia regions
  • Travel costs, housing, and business expenses fully paid by the company
