INTERN (Logistics) - United States Cold Storage : Job Details

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Logistics Intern to support our Cold Share Consolidation team. This internship offers a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience and insight into the daily operations of our logistics department. The ideal candidate will contribute to key logistical functions and assist in maintaining the efficiency of our supply chain processes. Key Responsibilities: - Assist in the pre-scheduling of delivery appointments for designated receivers prior to load planning. - Support in reviewing and approving detention charges and monitoring rate adjustment requests to ensure timely resolution. - Aid in customer order entry and ensure accuracy in order creation within internal systems. - Monitor and track freight tenders for select customers to support efficient load assignment and carrier communication.
