About the Role

The Salesforce Automation Engineer is a highly technical and strategic role within our organization. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including project managers, business analysts, developers, and subject matter experts, to analyze and understand their needs. Using your expertise in Salesforce, you will design and implement custom testing strategies, workflows, and integrations that streamline business processes and enhance user experience. Your primary focus will be on leveraging Salesforce's platform to automate repetitive tasks, improve data integrity, and drive insights. You will also maintain and enhance existing Salesforce solutions to meet evolving business needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements and translate them into Salesforce-based solutions.
• Design, develop, and implement custom Salesforce test applications, workflows, and integrations.
• Support agile teams in developing and executing test scripts for Salesforce applications.
• Automate business processes and data management to improve efficiency.
• Troubleshoot and resolve Salesforce functionality, data, and integration issues.
• Provide training and documentation to end-users on Salesforce features.
• Collaborate with teams to ensure Salesforce solutions meet business needs.

Additional responsibilities include staying updated with Salesforce platform updates, gathering feedback, working with UX/UI teams, creating and executing QA test plans, reviewing user interfaces, automating testing in CI/CD pipelines, troubleshooting issues, documenting defects, and fostering a collaborative team environment.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience as a Salesforce Consultant, Tester, Administrator, or Developer.
• Proficiency in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning, and Salesforce programming languages.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Certified Salesforce Administrator and/or Developer preferred.
• Experience with regression testing, CI/CD tools (GIT, GitLab, Docker).
