MAG Aerospace is hiring for an Intermediate Level Network Engineer to provide communications engineering expertise to PEO C3T in pursuit of technical and policy solutions to tactical enterprise and local area C5ISR challenges facing the Army's current and future forces.

This position requires expertise in communications network engineering, satellite communications, architecture, analysis, development, and network operations support. The Network Engineer will act as a subject matter expert (SME) regarding next-generation technology insertion strategies and integration planning of future C5ISR capabilities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide analysis, assessments, and test evaluations of potential high-payoff communications capabilities supporting PEO C3T's global C5ISR support plan.
• Support the government by performing trade-off studies for system-level design and material acquisition of tactical communication systems, including implementation and testing.
• Serve as an expert providing technical guidance to meet requirements.
• Ensure timely repair/replacement of non-functioning network components through maintenance contracts.

Minimum Requirements:Experience / Skills:

• Experience supporting Tactical C5ISR systems in an OCONUS region supporting combat operations or advisory missions is preferred.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience with tactical radio communications systems (SINCGARS, HF Radios, Legacy SATCOM, software-defined radios, Tactical Networking Radios).
• At least 4 years of experience with tactical waveform planning (SINCGARS, SRW, TSM) and network planning software (Harris CPA, JENM, ACES, RAP-TR, Black Sails, ATOM).

Education:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Additional relevant experience can substitute for education (4 years for a degree, 8 years if no degree).

Other Qualifications:

• Must be a U.S. Citizen
• Must possess a Secret clearance

The position is contingent upon meeting physical and medical requirements and compliance with applicable regulations.
