Intermediate Interior Designer - Hospitality Interior Design | Novato, CA

This is an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented, self-motivated, and collaborative Interior Designer to join a talented, award-winning, and Gold Key finalist design team creating luxurious hospitality projects. Join a company with a casual, innovative, collaborative, and respectful culture, designing hotel to restaurant projects.

The Intermediate Designer works closely with the Senior Design and Design Director to help execute the project from concept through installation, including developing the concept, design details, finishes, furniture, coordination, documentation, and field execution. You will play a key role in all design phases, working on luxury hospitality projects from restaurants to hotels.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Interior Design or Interior Architecture from an accredited university
  • 4-8 years of relevant interior design experience; hospitality experience is a plus
  • NCIDQ certification or in pursuit is a plus
  • Strong conceptual and 3D design skills; Enscape software proficiency
  • Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, InDesign, SketchUp, Enscape, and Photoshop
  • Excellent interaction skills with clients, team members, and vendors
  • Ability to develop conceptual, schematic, and detailed designs, including specifications and FF&E development
  • Experience mentoring junior staff and participating in performance programs
  • Ability to work independently within deadlines and budgets
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally
