The 'accel bi corporation is seeking a seasoned seeking a skilled Intermediate Infrastructure Construction Coordinator to Supports the planning, coordination, and oversight of infrastructure construction projects, focusing on voice/data cabling and related services. Assists in ensuring installations meet technical standards and project timelines. Collaborates with contractors, project managers, and agency staff to support renovation and capital projects. Monitors work progress, enforces quality control, and helps maintain compliance with regulatory and safety standards.Gross Annual Salary - DOELocation - VAKey ResponsibilitiesSupport infrastructure telecommunications systems and construction design projects across multiple County agencies (DPWES, FMD, NCS, Police, Fire).Assist in designing county-wide telecom cabling, circuit networks, and building technology infrastructure, including wired/wireless plants, building automation systems (BAS), and IoT devices.Collaborate with agency sponsors, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and project managers to implement smart building and modern technology capabilities.Coordinate with DIT divisions to define technology requirements and equipment for county facilities.Provide operational and technical oversight of telephony service providers and related contracts.Participate in design planning for advanced communications infrastructure supporting voice, data, and audio-video technologies.Develop design specifications, project plans, and expenditure plans for telecom projects.Establish technical standards and specifications for IT building infrastructure design and installation.Review and approve blueprints and construction documents on behalf of DIT.Oversee and inspect installation of technology plant and BAS systems during construction.Manage and prioritize contractor work effectively.Stay updated on IT industry innovations and emerging technologies.Respond to maintenance needs and emergency operations activations.
