Position/Program Information

Essential Job Functions
  • Process documents such as reports, charts, case files, permits, and notices
  • Review documents for accuracy and compliance
  • Provide information to the public regarding regulations, forms, and services
  • Maintain and organize records, files, and data
  • Utilize office equipment including computers, scanners, and calculators
  • Calculate amounts, collect fees, and issue receipts
  • Manage office supplies and mail distribution
  • Serve as a receptionist or counter clerk as needed
Requirements

Selection Requirements: Completion of the Department of Human Resources Youth Worker (CYBP/CORE) program.

Special Requirements: Applicants must have held or hold the payroll title of Youth Worker and worked 40 hours/week for at least one year in the Countywide Youth Bridges Program.

License: Valid California Class C Driver License or alternative transportation method.

Physical Expectations: Light physical effort including walking, lifting up to 10 pounds, and some bending or stooping.

Additional Information

Applicants will undergo an assessment measuring customer focus, learning potential, responsibility, working with information, numerical calculation, and verbal ability. A passing score of 70% or higher is required.
