Now Hiring Full Time Interior Designer/Visual Merchandising Specialist

As a Visual Merchandising Specialist, you will execute merchandising, tagging & design of all showroom/outlet displays to meet company & corporate expectations of visual appeal. This isn't the high heeled position TV makes it appear to be. Our visual merchandising specialists work hard. This position is very physical. 50% of time is spent in the Warehouse assisting with opening & assembling accessories. The other 50% is spent hands-on performing design work (hanging wall art, merchandising, designing lifestyles & creating moment displays, etc.) on the showroom floor. This position will service our retail locations in Henrietta & Batavia & will require weekly travel, so reliable transportation is important.

What You'll Do...
- Receive, replenish, & display all showroom merchandise & accessory product
- Complete the visual design by accessorizing with wall art, tabletop accessory product, lamps, rugs & all other accents
- Continual maintenance of all showrooms displays, clearance centers & accessory warehouse
- Assist, delegate & monitor product movement with warehouse team members
- Open & tag all accessory product
- Complete inventory data entry & tagging for all showroom product
- Research & address product inventory discrepancies on a weekly basis
- Manage & maintain returned & damaged accessory product
What We're Looking For...
- Possess an Interior Design or Fashion Merchandising Degree or a minimum of 2 years experience as a Visual/ Interior Designer or Visual Merchandiser, preferred
- Be a self-motivator; delegate & multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Have excellent oral & written communication skills
- Adaptability, dependability, resourcefulness, critical thinking, attention to detail & organizational skills
- Must be computer literate with the ability to learn & become proficient in the inventory & purchase order management utility
- Travel by vehicle each week to various showroom locations in designated market
- Travel by vehicle on occasion & as directed to various outside markets for store openings, special projects or training
- Ability to lift, push, pull up to 75 pounds
- Required to walk, stand, crouch, kneel, & stretch to reach objects
