The ideal profile is an accounting or finance professional with 10+ years of industry experience in leadership roles. Most of our consulting engagements require Controllership and or Director level experience.

Types of Projects You May Support:

• Interim Accounting and Finance Roles: Step into high-impact positions during periods of transition, such as staff vacancies, leadership changes, mergers, or acquisitions. Assignments may include acting as an interim Controller, Finance Manager, or Senior Accountant, with responsibilities spanning financial close, cash management, and audit preparation.
• Project-Based Consulting Engagements: focus on complex issues and create innovative solutions to organizational issues. These projects often require professionals who have ‘been there and done that' and can quickly assess the environment, build cross-functional relationships, and deliver results with minimal ramp-up.
• Process Improvement and Optimization: Help clients streamline workflows, improve internal controls, and enhance operational efficiency. This could include designing new reconciliation procedures, revamping monthly close calendars, developing enhanced reporting packages, or advising on best practices across treasury, AP/AR, and general accounting functions.
• Treasury and Cash Management Initiatives: join in efforts related to cash flow forecasting, intercompany settlements, banking relationships, and compliance with debt covenants—all within complex multi-entity environments.
• System Implementations and Upgrades: Partner with IT and finance stakeholders during ERP implementations or upgrades, providing functional accounting insight to ensure accurate configuration, testing, and training.

These assignments are ideal for professionals who are confident stepping into evolving roles, navigating ambiguity, and providing structure, stability, and insight from day one.

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
• 10+ years of accounting experience, preferably in mid-sized or growing organizations
• Hands-on experience with treasury functions and managing corporate credit facilities (revolver experience required)
• Proven leadership experience, including oversight of accounting teams
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, macros, and data automation tools
• Ability to work independently and jump into fast-paced environments with confidence

Compensation Package

• Resource Solutions Consultants are paid for every hour worked and time and a half for overtime, unlike traditional employment where professionals at this level are exempt from earning overtime pay.

Must be a U.S. resident and authorized to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship.
