Overview
The Intelligence Support Specialist provides general intelligence support and training for Army Future's Command (AFC) organizations at various locations, including Fort Eustis, VA; Fort Leavenworth, KS; White Sands Missile Range, NM; Pittsburgh, PA; Fort Sill, OK; Detroit Arsenal, MI; Redstone Arsenal, AL; Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD; Fort Benning, GA; Natick, MA; Picatinny Arsenal, NJ; Raleigh, NC; and Orlando, FL. The role involves coordinating with Intelligence Security SMEs at HQ AFC.
Responsibilities
- Apply intelligence analytic skills to research, identify, assess, design, and report on complex military capabilities, leadership, policies, plans, strategies, and their impact on force developments within the assigned Command's portfolio.
- Present analytic support results through documented assessments, briefings, AAR/EXSUM, databasing, and monthly reports.
- Research, analyze, interpret, evaluate, and integrate all-source intelligence data related to order of battle, force structure, military capabilities, and leadership.
- Support CPI assessments, vulnerability assessments, risk analyses, and countermeasures.
- Advise S&T and T&E communities on threat capabilities and research future adversary capabilities.
- Assist in conducting briefings and debriefings for SME support on AFC projects and initiatives.
- Conduct threat intelligence assessments addressing foreign capabilities and their impacts on Army technologies and programs.
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Intelligence Studies, Engineering, Computer Science, Political Science, Criminal Justice, Security Studies, or related field, or six (6) years of formal military/DoD intelligence training and experience.
- OR eleven (11) years of military/DoD training and experience in intelligence or security areas.
- Broad knowledge of security disciplines (Personnel, Information, Physical, Industrial, Classification Management, Operations Security).
- Understanding of DoD security policies, programs, and procedures.
- Experience in executive-level communication, familiarity with IC standards.
- TS SCI clearance eligibility.
