About the Opportunity This is a Retained Search led on behalf of our Software client - a rapidly growing industrial xPaaS solution transforming how manufacturers approach integration, connectivity, and application development. The business is hiring two Integration Engineers as part of a strategic team expansion:
- One senior-level engineer, ideal for someone ready to step into a player-coach role, influence team direction, and move toward formal or informal leadership.
- One mid-level engineer, suitable for someone with solid foundations who is motivated to learn, grow, and gain exposure to complex, industrial-grade integration projects.

What You'll Be Doing
- Designing and delivering full-cycle integrations using the their platform (eliminating the need for external iPaaS tools).
- Scoping, quoting, and supporting pre-sales conversations alongside solutions and sales teams.
- Building and maintaining integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, JSON, XML, SQL, and custom connectors.
- Working directly with customers to translate technical requirements into scalable solutions.
- Supporting migrations away from legacy platforms like Boomi, Mulesoft, and Celigo.
- Collaborating across MES, WMS, and IIoT teams - including exposure to PLCs, OPC UA, MQTT, and similar technologies.
- Creating documentation and mentoring junior team members (senior role only).
• What You'll BringFor Both Roles:
- Strong knowledge of integration concepts (APIs, middleware, data transformation).
- Hands-on experience building integrations across MES, WMS, CMMS, or ERP systems.
- Proficiency in REST/SOAP APIs, JSON, XML, and SQL.
- Comfort working with clients or cross-functional teams to scope and execute projects.
Bonus Experience:
- Familiarity with iPaaS tools like Boomi, Celigo, Mulesoft, or Tibco.
- Industrial integration experience (e.g. PLCs, SCADA, OPC UA, MQTT).
- Experience with platforms like Ignition or similar.
- Exposure to EDI flows and data formats.
Ideal ProfileSenior Role: A seasoned integration engineer (7-10 years) who thrives in a builder environment, has informal leadership experience, and is looking to own more - whether through mentoring, technical influence, or future team management.
