The Intake Specialist will provide Orientation and support to individuals seeking assistance from Goodwill to overcome barriers to employment and will fulfill data entry and reporting duties for the Opportunity Center. We serve Kentuckians who have disabilities or experience other challenges finding success in the workforce, such as criminal backgrounds, language barriers, limited education, lack of transportation and chronic poverty.Job Type: Full-time, Non-ExemptEssential Duties and Tasks:Facilitates Orientation for new members at the OpportunityProvides outstanding customer service to prospective/new members and clients of the OpportunityInforms new members and clients about upcoming workshops and opportunities following Orientation to ensure engagement prior to first appointment with Career Coach.Ensures that new Opportunity Center members submit completed intake forms and Self-Sufficiency Matrix following Orientation.Creates client records through timely data entry in Salesforce/GoodData for new Opportunity Center members utilizing intake forms and Self-Sufficiency Matrix.Assists Career Coaches with follow-up calls toPrepares information and enters data for programs, asProvides case note updates in Salesforce/GoodData for clients on behalf of CareerPrepares program reports and works closely with Director of Compliance to ensure data accuracy and Standard Operating Procedures are being met.Perform other duties as assigned.Education and Experience:High school diploma or equivalent. Associates degree or one-year of work experience in lieu of college degree in workforce development/social services environments, such as a workforce development program and/or community rehabilitation program, providing services to individuals with disabilities and/or other disadvantages preferred.Must have proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Word, Excel, andMust have strong oral and written communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills with the ability to work with a variety of diverse individuals.Must be self-motivated with the capacity to consistently work with a high volume ofMust be detail-oriented with the ability to set priorities, plan, coordinate, and workPhysical Demands:This job may have physical requirements that are considered sedentary work.
