The Intake Coordinator will directly educate a prospective patient through the intake process leading to enrollment with Always Compassionate Health This person will work closely with referral sources, account managers, clinical team, and provider relations to ensure all tasks are efficiently completed associated with the enrollment process. The coordinator's direct job function would allow for a patient to receive the proper care they need and confirm all information about said patient has been recorded correctly. Qualifications: Working knowledge of NYS DOH - Health Care operations. Excellent organizational and time-management skills At least 3-5 years of experience in a Home Care setting Strong communication and interpersonal skills Attention to detail with problem solving skills Strong customer service background Requirements: Obtains initial authorization for care from respected parties- Pharmacies or insurance companies Refers to scheduling department need for coverage Answers phones from referral sources for intakes Reports back to referral source status of start of care Documents and reports to Supervisor when there is a change in client status, change in service requirement, change in employee assigned to case and any unsatisfactory performance Ability to use time efficiently Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and demonstrated ability to multi-task Technically savvy - proficient in use of smartphones, tablets, laptops, and other devices Exceptional communication skills - demonstrated ability to communicate and follow-up in a timely manner Bachelor's degree required Benefits: 401(k) Health Insurance Dental/Vision Aflac Paid time off If you feel your background and previous experience has granted you the necessary skills to succeed in this role, don't waste time and apply today!
