Inspired HomeCare, a provider of Home Health, Private Duty, and Hospice care, is seeking an Intake and Insurance Verification Clerk for its Illinois business office. This addition to our staff will play a key role in coordinating access for our patients. As our Intake and Insurance Verification Clerk, you will:
- Review referral documents and enter required information into the Electronic Health Record
- Coordinate with field offices and referral sources to obtain supplemental data as needed
- Verify patient insurance benefits
- Submit authorization requests
Experience in a similar role is helpful, as is knowledge of Kinnser or Homecare Homebase. Computer and telephone skills are a must. Position will require some availability outside standard office hours to accommodate operations in other time zones.
