MFS is spear-heading the Communities Partnering 4 Peace, a framework designed to provide comprehensive, long-term approach to reduce violence and gang activity. This framework will bring together community-driven strategies that will empower community-based organizations to intervene with those individuals at the highest risk of driving the violence while working with the overall resident population to transform perceptions and realities of their community. This holistic framework responds to high-risk incidents while also being proactive in preventing situations. We are now hiring for a full-time Intake and Administrative Coordinator to join our CP4P Team! ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
  • Supervises and coordinates all aspects of the programs including items related to service, community groups and personnel matters.
  • Responsible for maintaining quality and quantity of services. Keeps abreast of client service needs and participates in planning for them.
  • Performs comprehensive, in-depth assessments for a variety of clinical services.
  • Provides a full range of case management, counseling, advocacy, educational, and related services to CP4P participants as needed
  • Responsible for all personnel matters within program including hiring, assigning, and terminating of staff. Identifies for manager, leadership potential of program staff.
  • Participates in developing unit's annual and long-range plan.
  • Recommends program budget to their supervisor.
  • Assures appropriate integrations of multi-service, multi-disciplinary, and systems approach to program.
  • Develops and maintains contacts with community groups relating to program needs.
  • Works collaboratively with community agencies, organizations, and institutions.
  • Works collaboratively with other program supervisors in unit to carry out unit goals.
  • Works effectively with diverse staff and service population.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, Human Services or related field required.
  • Two years of social services, case management, or related experience preferred.
  • Previous experience in a behavioral health setting, preferred.
  • Must have access to a vehicle, valid driver's license and proof of insurance to perform essential job functions, required.
  • Employment with MFS requires proof of vaccination or an approved Medical exemption, required.
  • Thorough understanding of behavioral health and/or social services to assess and make preliminary determination of eligibility and nature of services needed.
  • Strong problem solving, analytical, and decision-making skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs and technical acumen
  • Must be detailed oriented with good organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Ability to work within a fast-paced environment and meet multiple deadlines simultaneously.
  • Ability to work effectively and collaboratively with diverse individuals and groups.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • MFS staff are required to provide proof of vaccination or have an approved medical exemption prior to starting employment. If an approved Medical is obtained, weekly testing is required.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
  • While performing the essential duties of this job, the employee is required to sit and stand for sustained periods of time, frequently talk, hear, use hands and fingers to feel, handle and operate objects or controls, and occasionally stand, bend, stretch, stoop, kneel and crouch.
  • The employee is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as preparing and analyzing data and figures, transcribing and viewing a computer terminal.
  • The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
SALARY:
  • Compensation is commensurate with years of related experience, positions requirement's, and candidate qualifications. The average salary for the position is $45,000.00
