Position Summary

LSU Health New Orleans School of Nursing is seeking a highly motivated individual to join our faculty as a part-time (0.80 FTE) instructor or assistant professor. The role involves educating future nurses at various levels (BSN, MN/MSN, DNS, DNP), utilizing state-of-the-art simulation laboratories, conducting research, engaging in faculty practice including nurse-run clinics, pursuing entrepreneurial activities, and developing leadership skills through our Emergent Nurse Leader Program. We invite qualified candidates to apply for positions in Adult Health, Mental Health, Medical Surgical, Pediatrics, Community Health, Primary Care (FNP), and Women's Health.

Minimum Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Nursing; Doctorate Degree required for Assistant Professor
• Louisiana Registered Nurse (RN) licensure

Preferred Qualifications

• Doctorate Degree in Nursing
• Advanced Practice Certification (APRN)
• Experience in nursing research
