Instructional Support Technician - Stony Brook University : Job Details

Required Qualifications (as evidenced by an attached resume):Bachelor's Degree (foreign equivalent or higher). Two (2) years practical full-time research/work experience in an academic or industrial laboratory setting. Experience with safety and compliance regulations in a laboratory setting. Highly proficient, professional experience in word processing, spreadsheet management, electronic messaging, and internet applications (Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, Google Apps, etc.)Preferred Qualifications:Advanced Degree (foreign equivalent or higher) in Chemistry or closely related discipline. Additional years of practical experience in a chemical or chemical biology laboratory. Experience with hazardous laboratory waste disposal. Experience in a laboratory environment including oversight and maintenance of instruments. Experience using procurement software systems such as Wolfmart.
