In this role, you'll oversee on-site installation of fiber optic systems, ensuring projects are completed on time, meet quality standards, and exceed client expectations. • Lead installation crews on fiber optic construction projects, ensuring safety, quality, and adherence to timelines.
• Complete projects efficiently in a variety of environments and weather conditions.
• Perform installations, terminations, and testing of fiber optic systems according to company standards.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and utilize provided safety equipment.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to coordinate project tasks.
• Provide on-the-job mentorship to apprentices and support their skills development.
• Maintain accurate records of installations, project progress, and materials used.
• Proactively identify and resolve installation challenges in the field.
• Ensure work meets or exceeds customer and company quality standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in cable installation or a related field.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Leadership experience with strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions.
• Interest in learning and mastering fiber optic construction processes.
• Self-motivated and quick to adapt to new methods and technologies.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Willingness to obtain necessary certifications (company-paid).
