Be part of a team that invests in your future, celebrates your success, and values your contribution.This position will involve the installation of aluminum storefronts, curtain walls, and entrances as well as associated glazing, hardware, and caulking.Essential Functions• Follows instructions from field supervisor regarding installation of aluminum products such as: storefronts, doors, curtain walls, and associated glass and hardware• Works independently and with other installers to install Division 8 products as assigned and trained• Responsible for installation of more technically advanced or demanding architectural grade products• Follows manufacturer direction and warranty requirements when installing products• Tracks time and materials as required for each installation project• Maintain all equipment in good working order and report any malfunctions to field supervisor• Train entry level technicians on proper installation techniques and methods• Follows all company policies and procedures• Provides quality customer service• Attends all training to learn new technology of building materials and installation methods as required by location management• Travel as required to perform essential functions (approximately 25%)• Other relative duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications• High School Diploma, or an equivalent combination of education/experience • Some installation experience with doors, frames, and hardware products, or Division 8 products• Clean driving record and at least 21 years old required• Must pass pre-employment background check and drug testKnowledge, Skills and Abilities • Ability to read and use a measuring tape, level and other required tools for installation required• Excellent interpersonal skills required• Excellent written and verbal skill required with the ability to communicate and understand detailed instructions Physical DemandsThis position requires physical activity consistent with a construction or installation environment. The employee will spend more than two-thirds of their time standing, kneeling, crouching, stooping, using hands to handle or feel, and reaching with hands and arms. Approximately one-third of the time may be spent walking and engaging in verbal communication or listening. Frequent lifting and moving of materials weighing between 25 and 50 pounds is required.Work EnvironmentThis role may involve travel to project sites and exposure to a variety of environmental conditions. These may include outdoor weather, proximity to forklifts or other heavy machinery, and the use of hand tools or hardware.
